Shirley Logan, Bank of America Volunteer
Shirley has been volunteering at GOOD+ Foundation for the last 14 years as a Project Leader through Bank of America. Throughout her long history with GOOD+ Foundation Shirley has not only committed herself to volunteering each month, but has also organized countless drives around much needed product. When Shirley spotted empty shelves where diapers are usually stored she came back a few days later with bags full of supplies to restock our shelves. Shirley recently retired from Bank of America, but continues to volunteer each month with fellow Bank of America employees. She is always the first in the group to arrive, eager to begin working over an hour before the session starts. Her commitment is inspiring to us all!
Wes Bender, Safe Kids Worldwide
Wes Bender has put in countless hours helping GOOD+ Foundation build infrastructure at its warehouse in Los Angeles and transporting corporate product between our warehouses for quicker distribution to the families we serve. As a certified car seat safety technician, Wes has also donated his time to educate low-income families on car seat safety and install free car seats at one of our key partner sites, Venice Family Clinic. When asked why he is dedicated to GOOD+ Foundation, Wes responded, "It all comes back to the same thing - I've made a positive difference for someone. I don't see it as anything special that I'm doing. I try to always look for ways to do things for people every day." We couldn't be more grateful to Wes for all his time, support and positive energy.
